We're Hiring

SAP IBP Consultant - Remote APAC

THE OPPORTUNITY

You will work at the intersection of business process and technology – helping global clients redesign how they plan. As a Supply Chain Planning Expert Consultant, you bring deep expertise in SAP Integrated Business Planning and a strong command of end-to-end S&OP/IBP processes to drive meaningful, lasting transformation.

This is a role for a practitioner who is equally comfortable in a configuration workbench and a C-suite workshop – someone who can translate business complexity into elegant planning solutions and hold a client’s trust through every phase of delivery.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Client Delivery & Process Design

  • Lead the design and implementation of S&OP and IBP processes across demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimisation, and integrated business planning cycles.
  • Facilitate executive workshops and cross-functional working sessions to align stakeholders on planning vision, future-state operating model, and ways of working.
  • Translate complex business requirements into structured process designs, governance frameworks, and data flows.

SAP IBP Configuration & Implementation

  • Configure and deploy SAP IBP modules (S&OP, Demand, Supply & Response, Inventory) tailored to client-specific business requirements.
  • Lead fit-to-standard workshops and functional design sessions, producing solution documentation that bridges business and technical teams.
  • Oversee integration design between SAP IBP and ERP source systems (SAP ECC / S/4HANA), ensuring data integrity and planning continuity.
  • Define and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT); develop training materials and support go-live and hypercare phases.

Practice & Knowledge Development

  • Contribute to internal knowledge assets – methodology, tools, accelerators – elevating IBP Ready’s SAP IBP and SCP practice.
  • Support pre-sales and proposal efforts by shaping solution approaches and articulating value to prospective clients.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 3+ years of professional experience in supply chain planning consulting or implementation, with demonstrable hands-on delivery.
  • Deep SAP IBP expertise – mandatory hands-on configuration of S&OP and Supply & Response modules; additional modules (Demand, Inventory Optimisation) are a strong plus.
  • Strong understanding of S&OP and IBP business processes – how plans cascade, how decisions get made, and where planning breakdowns occur in practice.
  • Solid knowledge of SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA from a functional integration perspective.
  • Track record of leading client-facing workstreams with direct stakeholder accountability.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Remote-first position – candidate must be based in the APAC region, with availability aligned to APAC business hours and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.

WHAT SETS YOU APART

  • Full project lifecycle experience – from discovery and blueprint through configuration, testing, and hypercare.
  • Demonstrated ability to run executive-level conversations – structuring ambiguous problems, moderating difficult discussions, and building trust with senior client leadership.

WHY JOIN IBP READY

We move fast. Our 14-day sprint model is how we deliver IBP projects that typically take months elsewhere, not by cutting scope, but by removing everything that doesn’t add value. No bureaucracy, no pyramid, no account managers sitting between you and the client.

The team is small, senior, and genuinely passionate about supply chain planning. We work across IBP, change management, and data science because that’s what real transformation requires. If that sounds like the environment you’ve been looking for, it probably is.
